I was finally able to ride this evening since the week before Gustav. It felt so good to hop on the Nomad and feel the wind again after nearly 6 weeks. I have attached an arial photo of my work facility. When this pic was taken the water had already receded nearly 1 foot. At it's peak the water was over the perimeter road. If all goes well we may be able to start up the first week of November. The control center is between the tall columns on the left and the 7 boilers. Take care all.

It's always great to get out and ride too! I hope that you'll get some good winter riding in, and I hope that the plant gets up and running faster than November.

Always great to be able to ride.
It's good therapy and it looks like you could use some stress relief after the bad weather.

Good to hear tha tyou got back on the road. Being down for weather is a bummer. At least you can ride most of the winter.

Be real careful on the restart, ya hear...
