How about some up and down the canyons off the Peak-to-Peak this Sunday (Sept 21), AM start to get a jump on any showers?? Open to suggestions but Saturday is out for me. And, certainly open to anyone else who might be in the area.

Sounds great, but I'm working Sunday.
Have fun!

Sounds good to me! I'm putting a new Avon Cobra on the front tomorrow. I'd like to test it out. :-)

Ya, thought about that but have some family plans on
Sat and the weekend is too good to let slip by. Next weekend might be good, leaves will be peaking too. Open for ideas from you and or Dan or Waterman if none of you can make it this time.

Leo and anybody else. We can meet at the gas station on the north side of the traffic circle in Nederland if that works for you. How does 10AM sound? Leo - same place we bumped into each other couple weeks ago.

Ells, it sounds like a great idea, but I can't.

Perhaps a lunch hour ride up lookout mtn again during the week?

Ya, so do we. Need to come up with another midway hook-up.

Had a great ride with Mtn1600. Up Boulder Canyon, down Left Hand, up Saint Vrain to Estes, then down 36 back to Lyons, up along the foothills backroads to Loveland, up Big Thompson back to Estes, then down the Peak-to-Peak to Nederland and then I came down Coal Creek Canyon and Leo headed back to Evergreen. About 230 miles for me but was close to 6 hours riding at some above posted speeds. Each leg goes between about 9500 and 5500 ft. Aspens just starting to turn at the highest altitudes, not much ahead of the lower ones. Sorry no pics, too busy riding.

Sorry for the late reply.

Had a great time. Good place to eat, Ells.

Have to do that again soon, before the snow starts flying.
