Which luggage rack

I have a 2002 1500 FI Nomad and I want to put a luggage rack on it.
I have a passenger backrest on the bike and I'm not sure who it was made by and I see that some luggage racks are for use only with matching make ie Cobra backrest.

Are there any racks out there that doesn't have to have a matching make backrest?

What is everyone using for luggage racks?

I want a fairly large rack as I will be using it to haul a pretty large leather pack.

Also I want something that follows the lines of the Nomad not something that looks like it belongs on some flashy sporty bike.

Well i think you may need a custom rack made if you dont want one that will match to your passenger backrest. I bought a cobra luggage rack for my OEM sissy bar and it looks and fits great.

I have an 02 and this is the rack that is on my bike. I bought it off ebay. The sissy bar and the rack were part of the deal that I got. I know they are sold separately. I have added a pic of my bike so you can see what it looks like.

I have a cobra rack on my 07 it fits the oem backrest perfectly.

this what my cobra rack looks like mounted to my stock sissy bar.

I've got a Cobra. Works well with a large back pack and is about 1/2 the price of an OEM.
