Hello all.
You read it right. 9031 miles on the stock, original rear Bridgestone 722 tire. I was amazed. There was a faint center tread left and a bunch of cupping on the sides. Lots of 'roaring' in the curves.
I left the stock front on for now. I will change them as a set at about 15 or 16K.
I replaced the rear with the same Bridgestone 722. I am enjoying the smoothness again. Love our Nomad.

I'm at 10,500 and probably need new tires. I will not go with the stones upon replacement.

I only got 10,500 out of my rear tire. Replaced it with a Dunlop D251 that the dealer had in stock (180/70 16) which corrected the speedo pretty good (reads about 3 mph high).
Still have the stock front tire (about 13,500 miles now).

i only got 7500 out of the back stone and 9500 out of the front. probably could have went a couple thousand miles farther on the front but was cupping real bad. i live in the mountains of North Carolina and roads are twisty so little rough on tires. i replaced the stone with metzlers so far they are doing great

I'm over 12,000 miles and still goin' Won't be long before replacements are called for - metzlers I think
16,700 on Metzlers, front would have made 20 easily.I have Dunlop Elite 3s on now, 6,000 miles and will easily make the same as the Metzs. The Dunlops have not even started to wear yet.

300 miles a month!!!!! sheeeez, I did that Saturday!!!!
Yeah, I rode over 300 miles yesterday alone. BD...you really do need to get on that Nomad more.
As far as a rear tire, I feel lucky if I get 10,000 out of it. I've got 34,000 miles on my Nomad. I'm on my 4th rear tire.

Went 12,400 on first 'stone rear, 11,800 on 2nd 'stone rear and changed the front also when I had the third rear put on. Yea, I can here it now, you actually put 'stones on? Yep, I did, seem to work fine. I may go with E3's next time, but I don't seem to have that big a problem with the Bridgestones.

I have 12500 on my stock tires, have no plans to change it till the spring. I can still see and feel the center tread pattern and plenty of tread on the sides.

Hi, I bought my 05 used with 26,500 kms on it. It was on its second set of Bridgestones. The first front one was changed at 24,000 kms, the rear at 16,000kms. I now have 33,000 kms on the bike now and guess there is enough tread on the Bridgestones tires for another 3,000 to 5,000 kms. The front tire is howling like a banshee, no issues with the rear tire.
I am going with Avon Cobras next tire change, probably in the Spring.
