Being in Northern California, both the SW and the NW rally points are a bit of a putt, but I'd be interested in seeing what you have in mind....

OH SUE.....now you've done it :(

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides
By the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will,
Shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness,
For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger
Those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

Okay! Ca-Mon, I was clear over in the Goldwing room when this hugh puff of acrid, pungent air come-a woffting in. I should have known that BD and SB were in front of that prank...If we hung your butts out the bottom of a plane, we could spray for bole weevils and kill them all. Of course anyone who was on the ground looking up would just assume we were advertising double buns......

...hey VC
I would be into your idea of a NW meet n greet! The other rallys are a long way to go for us but something closer might work depending on where and when and that cursed thing called... a job!!!! :)

You know it is easy for me to get from SE Idaho to Richland, Washington. It would be the same as for lomax. Time, place, etc. Let me know what you are thinking. Do you want to start brainstorming locations and dates? Boise? Wallawa, Oregon?

11-08-2007, 10:26 AM
Lomax that sounds great. I'm thinking some time in june or july before it gets to freaking hot. Once We know who may want to attend then we can set up a place in the middle for everyone to meet. Hope to get more feed back on this.

11-08-2007, 10:29 AM
Yes I would like to see when others would like to meet. I was thinking like Maybe OR since it's in the middle of some of us. I'm thinking we need to talk to everyone and see what dates they can get off and where the meet will work for all. ;)

I'd meet ya anytime next summer at Crater Lake Oregon..... I toured the Oregon Coast, the Columbia River, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and back to No. CA, but I haven't been to Crater Lake yet.

I still think this a good idea folks. I had made the suggestion to the moderators before about setting up a more regions (when they first suggested areas to meet) so those who cant or dont want to ride that far could still attend a kawanow Meet n Greet but in all three threads I suggested it it was ignored and never ever responded to by them.. I still think it should be setup as NW meets-SW Meets, midwest north and midwest south and NE and SE meets. Then maybe at some point down the road a huge national meet and greet. But I'm not in charge here and I think Trip does a great job here on this forum. This is just my thoughts on it. I know alot of us from the NW are not going to the West meet n greet because its to far for most of us up here to go. So I say we should get those who live up here in N/Cali, Oregon, ID, W-Montana, BC, WA, N.W. Utah to set up our own Kawnow meet n Greet. Any thoughts on this guys? I open to sugggestions to where. We would like to have place for those who like motels (like me) and for those who like to camp to be the place to meet. Your thoughts all?

I think holding a NW Meet and Greet is great VC.....go ahead and make your plans for something next year and once plans are completed, I'll post it on the website.

You might keep in mind that since we have already split the nation up into three regions, the NW gathering will need to be called something like the Western Region NW MAG or something like that. I have no plans of creating a fourth region right now.

Well...........the Eastern is June 19-22 and the Mid-West rally is the following weekend. I could keep rolling across the country in your direction but you all plan when you want. I do have a friend in NE Utah I can visit as well.

Man - ya'll are tempting me! I may have to quit my job and then ask for it back when I return. Or do like some others have done where I work.....say they are going PRN, take off a few weeks, then ask for a full time job back and get it! (I guess there's one advantage to a nursing shortage afterall)
