I just came from another motorcycle forum and I will admit that I sat here and looked at many of the post. It was a war zone. Everyone was putting down everyone else's bikes. Harleys hated Goldwingers and Goldwingers hated Harleys....No wonder we have so many wars.....Seemed like all those with an IQ of 3 gravitated to that particular site......\\

What's wrong with people with an IQ of 3? I'm very proud of my 3 IQ. I worked hard to get that high of an IQ. BTW, what's an IQ?

I agree, Dan. Except in my case I came from a forum that was nice and helpful and feel fortunate to have found another one like it for my new Nomad. Personally, I never quite understood why one rider would bash another over the kind of bike he/she rides. Isn't "that you ride" all that's important? Freedom of choice and right to self expression lets us see all different kinds of riders on all different kinds of bikes. I wave to all riders on all bikes and I appreciate/respect someone else's bike. If it suits them, so be it.

BTW, I wonder how many of these so-called "hard coreHarley riders" drive a Japanese car? But they say nothing about that! LOL...

For the likes of me, I've never understood why one person would put down another person's bike. It's their toy, their money, their ultimate responsibility. But, with IQ's like that....why waste my time wondering.

i rode harleys for most of my life till i bought the best bike i have ever owned. a 2005 nomad blk/silver. if you took all the japanese parts off of a harley it would never leave the garage. it would be merely yard art. its not what you ride but if you ride. my 2c..... ride safe http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
