You see the down hill slope next to my bike in the third pic?
Thats where it ended up laying on it's side when I tried to leave the parking area :-[
If Cindy hadn't been with me I would have had to flag down a car to help me pick it up. Damn these things are heavy when they are handlebars to the down side of a slope http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif

nice pics. I hope everything is ok with your bike. Upstate NY really is a beautiful place. I grew up a block from the Hudson River in Cold Spring, 50 miles north of the NYC.

Thanks revmrq , the saddlebag is pretty scratched up on the lower 1/3 but other than that the bike is fine.

sorry about the bike. How does Cindy like her bike?

The second pic. looks familiar. The finger lakes is a good place for the rally. I might even head up that way in October.

Sorry to hear of your mishap TC. Good thing Cindy wasn't on when it happened. She looks real happy with her bike though.

Fish and Beez, yeah Cindy really like the bike. It is a good bike for her to start on. She went the whole 485 miles in two days without a complaint. She loves riding her own bike. She is talking about a 900 Lt Classic next year though http://s2.images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif
Dan, yeah that is an Amish Buggy. We were at a parking area and I saw it coming down the road. Thought it would make an interesting pic if I could get it just as it went by with the bikes in the foreground.

TC, thanks for the great pics. Looks like beautiful country out east, can't believe how green everything looks. I like the pic with the Amish buggy too.
Sorry to read about the bike mishap, but glad that nothing major happened.

Seymour, Mo area has a lot of Amish People. Sometimes when you drive Hwy 60 you'll see a few buggies. One day i saw about 10 on the side of the road. I said to my son, "Look its Amish rush hour."

Nice pics of some lovely country. That downhill pickup must have been tough, probably took about all the two of you had to get it up.
