how do you add it to your sig line
after you set the map up on the previous link, copy the image code and paste it to you signature line under your profile. (link is at the top of the page in the dark grey box) While you are in your profile check it out an make sure everything is current, email address etc. When people click on your name they can view your profile

The last time this post came up, I was a newbie and made a comment about how when you are fresh to the site there are many things that you miss. Almost all of it is found in the FAQ that Trip wrote, but like me, I am sure that many don't catch it the first time they read it.
Clint and CO&TX,
Go to the site and click on each of the states you have visited. Once the map is made, right click the picture and "Save as" your own. Then you will be able to upload the picture on Photobucket and copy the link from Photobucket into your profile.
It seems a little confusing at first, but it's really not that bad. If you need more help, please continue to ask. The guys and gals in the forum are all very hospitable and will help you out when you need it.
Congrats for joining and we all hope to get to know you better.

When we went to Georgia to pick up my wife's new car last month, I sure wish we were on the bike, I could have colored 6 more states in.

I parked my avatar and sig pics in my VROC photo album and the site is down for 48 hours in memorial to one of their fallen founders. He went by the handle Wolfman and was killed in a head-on three years ago today. Meaning no disrespect, but I have opened a Photobucket account and will be moving them to there when the site opens again. Of course, Photobucket has far more utility and should have been using it all along. Or, I could have changed my handle to Red-X but think I'll leave it as is.

On Photo Bucket you will find links for your pictures and or albums, copy and paste the link to your post here, so others can click on it. You should see links for email...Img for your profile post and etc.

Chainsaw,
For your avitar (where Namvet's battalion picture is and where my laughing face is) you need to "copy" the "Direct Link" address (right click on the line and click "copy") and paste it in the "Avatar URL" box. For the "Signature Pictures" (check out the picture of my beautiful wife and kids, as well as my state map and fat body on the '99 N'ad), you need to "copy" the "IMG Code" (Image Code) and paste it in the "Signature" box. If you are pasting more than one picture in your "Signature" box, then just paste the first and immediately paste the second (third, fourth, etc.). Do not hit enter! I hope that this helps you, but if you need more help, just ask...I know there are more helpful people out here than I am.

Nothing unique, 3 year old Lexus with 27,000 miles.
I look on auto trader for the lowest mile, lowest price car, then go get it. I hope the next one is even further, like Boston!
It's a good way to see the country, but not as good as on a bike.
