we had a good ride and got to see a bunch of Nomads I talked to several owners and in all put out 2 dozen of my KawaNOW cards hope some of the guys will join us, 2 people I talked to seemed to be very interested. Here are a few pictures I took but I don't think they are all Nomads 1 looks to woody to me.

oldbikers, Can you add a little more information about the event. How much of the town gets involved, are there area rides? How were accommodations in area?
I might make it there next year.

well, the town population goes from approx. 250 to 35,000...theres camping areas, places for r.v.'s...etc. plenty of folks selling food, water and such. you can always run down the street to starkville and buy your own supplies too.

Cool Pics. The wood bike reminded me of this one I took last year at a ripleys Museum.

What Nomad said I believe they had more bikes than they have had in the past Reloader the whole town is not a mile long so yes the whole town gets involved. On Friday they have a police escorted ride around the country side and through several towns and they were stopping in Starkville and feeding all the riders but I don't know if they still do that are not. By the way Reloader maybe I will get a chance to hook up with you one of these days my oldest son lives in Pensacola or if you every get up this way ( I live 50 miles south of Memphis Tn) let me know and we will do some riding

Looks like you had a good time Jim, and the "woody" looks like a real hardtail. Great pics too.

Are those cards ones you've had printed up? Like to see the wording on it so I could have some made up.

Hey, looks like lots more Nomads there than I would have expected. I guess they're not so rare after all.

Saw 4 this weekend at the TT Grand National parade.

Never realized how popular Nomads were, until I found this forum and see all your pictures from travels. I assumed most were HD and Yamaha owners.
