Hi Everyone,
Haven't posted for a while, but have been reading the forum plenty.
I recently added a set of arm rests to my trunk, check out the pics.
Thats right, they are from an office chair, they work really well, they swivel out of the way for mounting and dismounting, plus are adjustable up and down.
My wife has a condition where she is not supose to let her arms dangle down, or her fingers will go numb. We put on 275 miles on Saturday, no problems.
They look a little wierd, but a happy wife is a good thing to have. :)

Hey, making the wife happy will make your rides more enjoyable. They look pretty good also.

I was prepared for some really bad looking arm rests, those don't look bad at all.

That is a nice setup you got there. What kind of office chair was it from? I gotta take a look at some of the old ones laying around school now.....

Theres nothing wrong with that setup if it does the job for you. It doesn't even look that bad either. It amazing how resourceful you can be when theres a problem to be solved.

I think the armrests look really good! Plus, if they make your wife happy, all the better! Nice work!

keeping the little woman happy always works for me good job
Looks ok to me, and in some cases might stop someone falling off, and we've seen how painful that can be. Good job Terbear

I sit on one of those chairs at work! The pads are adjustable up and down and swivel 360 degrees. They are filled with a gel padding. Great idea! Can't find a brand name on it though.

I predict an office chair going MIA, replaced by another one :)

Looks good. Now I need to keep my wife from seeing the pictures. She is always seeking more comfort.

Way to go Terbear, I am proud of you for 2 reasons. First getting in there and making them and secondly taking care of the wife's needs.

Nice Job and good thinking. I had to modify the rear floor boards for my wife. Bad knee's.
I modified a set of Kuryakyn Transformers off of a Gold Wing. Work great and she loves them. If Momma ain't happy, nobody's happy.
