I just found this off the Kawasaki site ...the installation instructions and owners manual for the Premium Audio System.
http://www.kawasaki.com/Site/kawasaki/techpubs/English/instl_instr/ii_K10400024.pdf
Couple of interesting points:
Looks like the connections are 7-pin DIN.
Drilling that big hole in the back of the left saddlebag made me cry just looking at it ...but, I could install the whole shebang into my trunk (where my current audio stuff is).
With some work, it could probably be ripped off and transplanted to another bike - provided you have the room.
The passenger headset has volume control and a ptt button on the cord.
The XM antennae is REALLY SMALL.
All of the connectors are weather-capped and hard mounted.
I don't know ...this almost makes me want to consider it. Price is, of course, always an issue, but if it works half as well as it looks, it might be worth it. I absolutely LOVE that handlebar control unit.
