Turned in a nice 175 mile ride on a great Sunday. Now I have to park the Nomad, seems my left knee and the orthopedic surgeon are going to meet up on Thursday for a little cut and stiching!! (not riding related) will be out of action for 4 to 6 weeks. I guess I will just keep the bike clean..

Don't turn down rehaab if it's offered. It'll get you back on the bike a lot quicker. I've had both knees worked on and I am probably looking at a complete knee replacement in 3-4 years. Good Luck on your surgery!

Mark, here's wishing you a healthy recovery. I'm sure it'll be tough looking at the Nomad for a while, but it will be worth it. I'll put some miles on for you!

Mark, good luck with the surgery, and like they all have sid, let it heal right the first time, AND you might want to make sure your tank is full before you park it for that long. You will be in our prayers.

Best of luck to you Mark!
I had knee surgery for TWO large meniscus tears in the same knee last year...OUCH! PLEASE use the rehab/physical therapy!!! It made a huge difference in recovering faster for me.

Throw a hand shifter on and bolt on a sidecar for balance. Then you wont have to worry about weight on the knee.

Just kidding Mark. Nomads are a faithful and loyal breed. Your trusty steed will be waiting when you return.
God's speed on your recovery.

Good luck with the surgery. I had my right knee scoped in 1989 for a buckethandle tear in the meiniscus. Pretty painful for a few weeks. Be sure you are healed and the leg is strong before getting on the Nomad. A slight loss of balance or slip on a weak or painful leg could spell disaster. Prayers for a speedy recovery....
