HitchDoc hitch for Nomad for sale. Will fit 1500 and should fit 1600. The receiver is fully hidden behind the finder. I had the drawbar lengthened by one (1) inch, to clear the chrome F&S tips. The welding was done by a certified welder and has full penetration. As strong as original.

Asking $200 plus shipping.

I think Chuckster had to modify the 1500 design to work with the 1600. Aren't the rear tires different widths?

The 1600 frame is wider. AFAIK, no 1500 hitch will work on a 1600.

That's right. MCHitch says their 1500 unit will not work on a 1600.

The HitchDoc does notmount to the frame. It mounts to the bag mounts. Checkthe width of the bar on the bag mount and let me know. Center to center. Take a look:

I have the first one Chuckster built. He used my 1600 for the proto type and it's great. I'm sure it will pull anything I need and then some.

I have one as well. Installation was a snap. I haven't towed anything with it yet.
