Pretty neat, were those wild elk or in a park type surrounding?

They were wild, We didn't see any at the lookouts, Got there to late in the morning, but seen these cows along RT. 555

Never made an elk hunt but have friends who did. The bulls are remarkable animals. My cousin killed a 6x6 several years ago. That mount nearly covers an entire wall of his living room!
