I paid about that much for my last filter from the dealer. And it was not chrome. What a deal.

Black is best for an oil filter.

I am waiting for the first chrome tire, just think how cool it would be spinning down the road on a chrome rim :)

Without considering cost, I wonder what it would look like with chromed bags? LOL

Didn't the American chopper goofballs do an all chrome or all copper bike or something?

I actually knew a guy in Omaha that bought a HD (go figure on this one) had all the tins chromed. Tank, fenders, side covers, the works. Then he went out and bought chrome helmets for him and his girlfriend.

Just to give an insight into how "cool" this guy was, he had a porsche that he bought used (p.o.s.) and had personalized plates that said <biker>.

What is this about the safety wire? Did I miss something about changing oil & filter?

The ad says it's drilled for a safety wire.

With all that glare coming off the tank, I'll bet he had to wear (get ready for it) chrome sunglasses with mirrored lenses. LOL!
As Bugs would say. . . "What a maroon"

I missed that...

I guess a man that buys a chrome oil filter wouldn't want to lose it, now would he? http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif
