I have just installed 2 inch risers on my 2015 Vulcan Voyager 1700 handlebars. If any of you who, like me, have shoulder and upper back pain when riding, do not hesitate to install these 2 inch risers. They change everything.

I have no more pain in shoulders or upper back and, I am very comfortable now. I measure 5 feet 10 inches. This has made all the difference.

The 2 inch risers that I installed on my 2015 Voyager were purchased from Chuksters. Low price and great quality. They were shipped out same day and received them shortly after.

Many forum members have bought parts from Chuckster over the years.
Prompt service and quality parts.

Chucksters is a great person to deal with. I worked with him when he developed the extended brake and shifter for my Voyager, You will not find anyone better out there.:tup:

I had the risers on my Nomad and they were perfect. Now I have the Vaquero with the fairing. Would there be any problems with the bars hitting on full lock mode. Anyone with a Vaquero have installed these and any problems? Thanks in advance

Ive have chucksters risers on my 15 vaquero for 3 years now. If you position the bars too far forward on the risers they will hit the dash. when I installed mine I turned the forks full lock to the left and set the bars a quarter of an inch away from the dash then tightened down the clamps. this way you can still lock the bars and still have enough lift to stop the shoulder pain when on road trips or extended rides. this works for me.

Thanks for the tips roxie. Do you have the stock windhield or aftermarket?

i have a 12 in. kawasaki windshield since the bike was new but thinking of going with a small clearview for the next one. also DO NOT over tighten the bolts for the bar clamps or the clamps will break. I tightened down the top bolts first then used a tourque wrench on the bottom bolts. I think the tourque specs are in the service manual. my bars have stayed tight since I installed them 3 years ago.

Thanks for the info rozie. Reason I was asking about is I have the 12 inch clearview with the curve.

how do you like the clearview? did you get the vent too or is it not necessary with the 12 in. screen? i heard that the vent is out of stock for 6 to 8 weeks.

Hey Roxie. I have the 12 inch Clearview without the vent. I didn't feel I needed it. This is the best windshield I have ever had. Well worth the money.

I have the 12" with the recurve and the vent. I will not buy another windshield without having the vent. It does make a lot of difference.

Good information JDHog. To late for me but good information for Rozie to think about. The recurve I am really sold on and makes quite a difference.

when you ride do you look through your windshield or over it. Im 5ft 10 and look about 2 inches over my 12 inch kawi windshield. do you get any buffering with the vent open or closed?

I'm 5' 8" with a 30" inseam. I look over the windshield and get no buffeting with the vent open or closed. I can adjust the stream of air to my chest, face or above. I have it adjusted to my face most of the time.

Joe is great to deal with at Chucksters. I have his Trailer hitch. Called and asked about one and he just made it. Called back a few days later to order one and he said I already made it for you.
I have a Clearview shield also. If you go taller than 12" , YOU NEED THE VENT. Great shields, Love mine. but the air that they block, you will be much happier with the vent. Just happens mine rattles at certain RPMs but tolerate it for the air flow. Peg and others say their vent does not rattle so ?? Just Get the Vent, NO Regrets.

Rox Risers is what I have. Theses that fit the Indian work. 1.25 inch

They give you a lot of adjustment both up and back so you can avoid the bars hitting the fairing and get maximum adjustment.
