Went to Va.. in June for my ride.. about 900 miles from my house the way I went,,When I finally made it to Natural Bridge Va..with a day stop in Ct.and York Pa. MY BUTT was ON FIRE :'( Like my Mistress put spikes in her whip and whipped my BUTT EXTRA HARD http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif,, Man I was a REAL SORE AZZ ::)..
SO redid the stock seat.. at a Local shop.. Added a Saddleman Gel Pad, 1/2" foam over the Gel..Got rid of the taper on the back of the seat..and made it alittle wider..and recovered it.
....and when I first sat in it I said WOW....I could slid back alittle farther.seemed to sit lower ???must be because I am in the Saddle not on it http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif..Only did 20 miles..friggin rain plus Im on emergency call. :-[ Felt real nice,,and another good thing is NO BALL shifting..or crushing...you know when your nuts keep sliding back to the point you allmost sit on them http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif.
HOPE this seat works for the long haul. ::)...and I didnt waste 275$ LOL............ Richhttp://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b128/Radco1890/Nomad/seat3a.jpg

I had a vasectomy in 1982. I had no complications at all; but I still squirm a little when people talk about them.

My wife asked in the waiting room if I wanted to change my mind and not go through with it. I responded that she did her part in birthing our daughters, a vasectomy was the least I could do.

Had the Vas in '79, But i can sympathize with you on the nut thing. Thats why i am trying to buy a seat from a Classic. Take a look at the way yours is cut now, and the Classic's cut and if you are able, sit on both at a dealer and you'll see/feel the same difference. as for the repaking, I think if I am able to get one, I will have it redone. On my Nomad, I gotta stop ocassionally and stand up to let my boys swing free.

Well as far as the seat goes I got a seat from a buddy who has a Classic, what a difference in seats totally different cut to the Classic seat.
Mark, here's my vasectomy story or warning. Go have a sample tested again every couple of years. Had it done in 1987 and later in 1994 the wife shows up pregant. I suspected the UPS man but she said no way you're going back to the doc because you did this to me. Well sure as ****. there were tadpoles swimming free again. So I got another daughter out of the deal that's now 13 and has it made according to her older brother and sister who are 21 and 23. And yes I got fixed again in 1995 so far so good. Just wish I could have video captured the look on the Doctor's face after he said "I can fix that for you "as he viewed my pregant wife and me at his office. And I responded you did that already don't you remember. It was priceless. So yeap I'm a .001 percenter and the *** lotto is still eluding me.
So is the doctor paying support for you daughter??
My Dr. said he just doesn't "snip" the little tube but cuts a small piece out of it so there is no chance of growing back together.

Wow, Skimo. You are definitely in the minority. I never knew until I had the surgery (BTW, I use the term "surgery" instead of "procedure" around the wife. I get more sympathy and fewer honey-do requests ;) ). The doc said re-canalization, or growing together of the severed vas deferens, is possible. That's probably what happened to you. I agree that it's well worth taking in a sample for analysis once a year or two. In the meantime, I have to "clean the pipes" often until the samples are clear. After 18 years of marriage, it will feel like our honeymoon again. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

No, some things are just meant to be. And some smart doctors have you sign that waiver because nothing is 100 percent.
Yeap doc cut out sections of the supply line and burnt the ends but in some rare cases there can be re-canalization. Just remeber it's not like the tap has to be all the way open, a small leak will get the job done if the timing is right. Usually the count is going to be low with re-canalization, just a small leak is all is takes.

I read the posts and the memories came flooding back. The vasectomy was about 10 years ago for me. All was well for about 4 weeks after, then it all started to go horribly wrong. One of my n*#s swelled to the size of a tennis ball. The pain was unbelievable and walking was very painful. I was in agony for about a week until the swelling subsided. I went to see the surgeon that performed the procedure and he had never had anyone else experience what I had experienced. I had to live with being called goat balls at work for a few months after that.

20 years or so ago, I was helping my brother-in-law put a new engine in his car. Lots of lifting and heavy work. I got this pain down in my groin area and thought I had herniated myself. Horrible, excruciating pain. I went to a doctor a day or two later and he said I had an infected testicle. Damn thing swelled like an orange. You don't realize how much of your inner anatomy is inter-connected until you have an experience like that. Every move I made aggravated it. I lived off antibiotics and demerol for 2 weeks. Worst pain of my life.
