G'Day From Down Under,
can anyone tell me what an OEM complete headlight costs in the US? Or is there an aftermarket unit that matched the std mounting points?
Price down here in Aus is around $515 US. I'll probably end up biting the bullet and paying this but as we all know, five minutes after spending too much money on something someone always tells us of a better deal elswhere!
PS. for any tourists heading down this way, I have now proven that a kangaroo is much tougher than a Nomad Headlight!
Cheers
Mark

Welcome aboard Mark!!! Sorry to hear about your 'headlight vs kangaroo' test!!! I can assume the Nomad's light didn't fare well....how about you??? Had to be a little un-nerving hitting something of that size!! Not sure about the cost here....I'll try and see what I can come up with. I'm sure others will be along shortly who can post quicker than I. Just wanted to say Welcome Aboard!!

Welcome aboard aussienomad from Vermont. AJ may be the best to help you with that question. Sorry to hear about your encounter with the kangaroo on the Nomad. I've seen too many video clips on TV to ever want to get near a 'roo.

Bikebandit has about the best prices for new OEM parts. (IMO)
How long can you wait to go without? You might find a deal on Ebay.

Sounds to me like Ma Kawi needs to get a kangaroo cannon and do some windshield kangaroo strike testing. Of course, they should thaw the kangaroos first. Hopefully they learned from the aircraft / chicken testing and not use frozen 'roo's. :)
