One question about my Ivan tune

I recently purchased a Voyager 1700 and it has the Ivan tune.
My question is, should or shouldn't the o2 sensor be plugged in the exhaust?. I've watched a video online where the guy is putting new pipes on and said after the tune you don't need to plug it in anymore whether stock or aftermarket pipes. I noticed the previous owner has it plugged in.

I am not 100% sure with regard to the Voyager but on the V Star 1300 Ivan gives the instruction when he returns the ECU to disconnect the O2 sensor.

I would wait until someone with Ivan's flash on their Kawasaki 1700 responds, just to be sure.

Ivan's flash doesn't use/require the O2 sensor but you still need to plug the hole with something.

I just left the 02 sensor in the hole and disconnected it.

Again, thanks for the help... I'll just leave it in and unplug till the new pipes come in.

2016 Vaquero here, Ivans instructions are to un plug the plug. Make that disconnect the plug. I and many others chose to unplug it under the right side cover ( the high side on the kickstand)
The sensor connected to the bike is not necessary any more. And will affect performance/ running of the bike now that the bike is Flashed.

I'm wondering if it screwed up the flash since the previous owner had it plugged in for about year.. (of course it's parked in the winter here in PA.) he only put about 1000 miles on it since the flash. But then I didn't know to unplug it until I seen the video

Having the O2 sensor plugged in wont have screwed up the flash.
