MAS Tequila

Last June, a buddy of mine died.
Not unexpected, he was advanced in years and Dementia had set in a couple years before.
This past Sunday I met with his widow and made a deal on his bike.
This Sunday a 2008 1500 Classic is joining my RK and Meanie project bike.
This particular Classic was last ridden in 2017 when I put it in their storage unit for them.
So I am now the proud new owner of a 2008 1500 Classic with 182 miles on the clock.
This thing still has the break in oil in it, and all of the original fluids and tires n tubes.
I'm really leaning towards passing it on to someone who would appreciate a new 2008 bike.
My first thoughts were hang a MS front end on it, trick out the engine, and so on.
I really think it deserves better than to be chopped up.
So, if anyone wants a new old bike, let me know.

I'm no longer physically able.......I had an 05' 1500 Classic for eight years and about 50K miles. Just got too heavy. I do miss that bike....old age kind of sucks.

Nice bike MAS. I have some parts you may be interested in. My 2007 1500 is gone but I have Memphis shades items. Brackets for the windscreen, with original long Allen wrench 2 wind screens 15" and 18". Also Lowers that clamp on the front forks. All like new and complete ( all Screws, bolts , washers and grommets. The shields are shaded on the bottoms with the typical crackling in the shading, But not to bad.
If you are interested, Or any one else. I had planned on listing these anyway this year.

They had a Tilting Works bike at SRK Cycles in Pennsylvania. Not sure if they still have it. They did a video on it March 17th on YouTube.

Captain Obvious reporting in: Wow that is some impressive engineering. Lots of geometry involved in getting the front end to behave as smoothly as it appeared in the video.

My friend came over to my shop on his streetglide, saw what I was looking up on my laptop, he told me we could use some mustang II tubular a-arms, and mustang II spindles, etc....
I had a lightbulb moment....my plasma cutter and and my tig welder started to make these humming noises in the background....
I might have to check into a ward, I have access to a Endeavor front end....hum....:wtf:....
