Well I spent 2 afternoons and a total of 8 hours in the D*mn hot sun to pass the MSF Intermediate course today. Several HD's there and they went out of their way to compliment the Nad. Two of them shared how they dislike all the rattles on their bikes and were considering selling and getting a metric. I took the high road and just said they had great looking bikes.
Things went very well...doing the figure eights in the little box was a challenge but fortunately I nailed it when it counted on the test. Felt good about my scores (95 on the written and 95 on the riding) but felt terrible for the one guy (out of 12) that dropped his new Suzuki Vstrom during the test (automatic failure)....after all that time baking in the sun...that sucks. Not to mention he broke his gear shifter, he is out $125 for the course and had to sit waiting while the rest of us finished and received our cards. I think we are were all a little more nervous after he dropped his bike.
I didn't think I would learn alot before the class but glad I did ....I am a better rider for it. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.
