I'm Russ. I've got an '06 Green and Titanium in North Eastern PA (A little northeast of Scranton). I'm originally from Central NY (Mohawk Valley / Central Leatherstocking region) and stiil go up there often to visit the folks. I've also spent about 7 years in the North Central area of Massachussetts from '98 to '05. I guess you could say I'm pretty familier with the Northeast region and willing to help anyone with thier travel plans. I still travel quite a bit throughout the NE either for vacations or, occasionally, when the job requires it.

Now, if I can only get more time off so I can ride more.

Got 5800 miles logged on it and love it. Plans to go west from RI next year CO, UT, MT, ID to mention only a few states.

Started driving in 1974, RD350 Yamaha (still wonder what she is doing tonight, miss her). Not much else to add. Oh, relevant places that I have not been: Vt, NH, RI and Maine. Hello to everyone, the name is Ernie, but I go by NamVet or Efot. I am from a small town just NE of Fort Wayne, In and I have a 07 Nomad, ruby and grey with about 7500 miles on it, just purchased this summer. I retired last year and had bought a Volusia VL 800, but walked into the dealer and laid my eyes on this Nomad, used with about 6000 miles on it, so the trade took place. I leave for Sturgis SD on the 30th of July with a buddy that now lives in Florida. We use to go each year untill the mid 90's, then families took over and the bikes went. My last big bike was a Ultra 1990 Classic and have always had Harleys, but they just priced themselves out of my market. Soon as I can I will post some pixs. If your headed this way, shoot me a email and let me know.

Hi I am Mac, from Tamworth NH. I am pretty local this year, bit in 05/06 rode coast to coast. I have been at riding since before I was legal. Most bikes back then came from diggin' clams in Ipswich Ma. None of them ran for very long or very well, if they ran at all.

If you run by this place intent to camp send me a warning... There is a nice field along a nice wood line.. Apx 15 miles south of the east entrance to the Kanc..

I'm really gald we still have some good riding roads in the N/E Corridor, within a day's ride of home. Superslabs are okay to get far quick, but there's nothing like a country road that meanders through rolling farmland or one that follows a river.

I never turn down a ride, only if time doesn't allow it (like I said, I have my daughter every other weekend), plus there are a few rides schedule with the Volusiariders gang (Cooperstown, NY on the first weekend in October and a wrench party in 2 weeks). Other than that, I am game for any ride. My "lady friend" rides a Suzi S50 but loves riding 2-up as well. I bought my black (the fastest color) '06 in May '06. Been riding since '69, but took a break for silly things like raising kids from '81 to '99 when I got back on a Kawa 750, then the Nomad. Hey all,
I figured since Bruce (racinchef) has a tendency to get lost in other people's regions, I'd stop by here and get lost in the Northeast Region. So Bruce, how DO I find my way back to the "Left Coast"?

Simple, ride behind Bruce and you will no doubt end up back in the North West region sooner or later.

:)Hi Gang
Iam from Cheltenham Penna.( S.E. Pa.) I rode for a bit In the late 1960's . Had a 650 BSA. Then I started riding again a few years ago with a 1100 Honda Sabre. I then bought a used 05 Nomad and very happy with it. Rooster 1 ;)

John here......from Yonkers, NY........originally from East Islip, NY (Long Island). Had a 76' Honda 360 and a 78' Yamaha XS750E, rode from 77' for about 10 years.

Got back into it and bought a 2006 Nomad this past March. Best thing I ever did!

I didn't realize just how much I missed riding!
