I wish you could have been with us too. We had a blast, as usual for our crew. Nice roads, great scenery, tons of laughs, good food

We got done eating at a Dutch Diner in Frackville & pulled in for Gas across the st. from the Diner when the Heavens opened on us. There were 4 French Canadians who had gassed up just before us and they were all huddled up under the service awning
I noticed them as we were about to pull out... and thought geez what are we......nutz (don't answer that) so I swung around and pulled up next to them then Beezer & Heaterguy pulled over we were there a couple of minutes before Fish figured out what we were doin. But once he seen us he swung around and ducked in.
After waiting about a half hour it let up a little & we decided to run for it. Beez lent my wife his raincoat as we didn't bring any.
( the optimist) And boy was she grateful, as I did my Rain ride.
About 3 min. after leaving our shelter it opened up again, and I let er rip. We got drenched to say the least, but had a wonderful day with some great friends. We've got some pics, I'll get one of the guys to post. I'm still the Dummy. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

Sorry guys, I didn't go near the computer last night. I was afraid I would short it out with all the water running off me. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif Yeah, I made it o.k. and the waterproof gear worked pretty good. I hit dry roads about 2 miles from my house.

No riding for me this weekend. I have a friend who arrived from LA this morning and have to leave for work in West Chester, Pa at 10PM which may get me back home for a nap at 6-7AM.

My friend and I are the original founder's of Drinking School. I'm the Dean of Students along with being the Guidance Counselor here on the East Coast while he runs a satellite office on the West Coast. Every year we have a 10 day convention to discuss students other concerns that may have cropped up over the previous year. We strive for perfection. Drinking School was founded in the late '60's and that's all I remember from that period. Anyone who would like to sit in on any of the upcoming sessions please feel free to stop in anytime. It's best to catch a session from the beginning. Reason being is the fact that in our strive for perfection it takes all of our energy and we usually need a nap afterwards. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

Tommorow around 10AM would be a good time for you guys to show up since it appears we'll get our agenda underway which is open to the public. This afternoon we'll be privately discussing our current fiscal affairs. ;)
