Found another Nomad today. This time a 1600. Not sure what year, but it has temp tags. Strange thing is I have seen only 3 Nomads in Maryland. One (1500) in my parking lot here at work before I purchased mine, and then of course mine (1500), and now this fine example (1600). Again in my parking lot here at work. I find that pretty odd.

I will have to get some KawaNow cards to pass out. Does anyone know if there is such a thing?

We talked about making some a little while back. I kind of dropped the ball on that one.... had some personal crap rise up. I'll try and make a template....so I can email it out and maybe work it into the home made business card off my printer.... just a thought....

That would be real helpful. I just went outside to place a note on the bike with KawaNow info, but it is gone. :'(
Oh well, maybe I will run into it again sometime. I will try to be more prepaired next time.

WOW impressive! Gives me an idea!
I can help here on the business cards. There is a site www.avery.com (http://www.avery.com) that has a section called design & print online. They have tons of templates and you can upload graphics. You can make cards in about 5 mins with anything on them you want. They also have a product called a "clean edge" business cards that snaps apart rather than having the little perforations.
Bottom line is you get a card cheap that looks as good as a professionally printed on.
I know because I'm a doctor, a lawyer, and an adult film talent scout on the weekends.

Last night my son and I were driving home from picking up dinner at a sandwich place. I was stopped at a light and a motorcycle pulls alongside in the left turn lane. It was a green/green 1500 like Audiogooroo's. That's only the second green/green I've ever seen. I didn't recognize the rider from VROC or anything, then the left turn arrow came on and he was gone.

Dang! I was hoping to get in and out of AZ without you knowing I was there! ;)
Just kidding...but while I sometimes think about how old my ride is getting, I just love the green on green! http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

I have seen at least 4 Nomads in the Peoria, IL area ... maybe I need to track 'em down and tell them about KawaNOW! :-)
On Sunday I seen 2 nomads at a resturant on RT. 115 in the Poconos Mts. but no cards to put on the bikes. I'd rather talk to them instead, but I didn't want to go in to interrupt thier meal.

Here is what I pass out. It is simple an to the point. I just print it out on Photo paper in my printer and cut them apart.

That should do the job TC. I like that.
Yep http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif there are Nomads out there- I was just in Colorado and on Tuesday while up on Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park saw 3 Nomads ( 2 green/silver & 1 blue/silver) did't talk to them. Nice to see others.

I sometimes ride with 6 Nomad owners. Three are ridden by retired doctors and all of these riders are senior citizens in the late 60's or 70's. They seem to be interested in many things, but not the internet.

good point. I'd be out riding now but with thunderstorms threatening, I think I will stay home.

If I see a Nomad rider stopped anywhere, I plan on intruding just to say howdy. It might be one of you passing thru.

I never use to see Nomads here in the Detroit area, but in the past two weeks I have seen two just blocks from my house. Unfortunately I was not able to catch them because they were going in a different direction. I also saw three Nomads riding into Escanaba in the UP back in June as I was coming back from South Dakota. It is definitely a good feeling to see other people riding the same bike I have.

Coming back from Americade this year, Cindy and I stopped for coffee and to dry off at a little corner store/ gas station , on the route home.
When we came out there was 3 or 4 ladys at the pump. One of them yells HEY. I look and she is pointing to her bike. It is a Nomad. Turns out they were members of the Motor Maids. They were from Canada. We talked bikes and Nomads for a while. It is always nice to meet some one on the road and visit for awhile.
I'm in the process of having a new card for KawaNOW professionally made. It will take another week or two.
Thanks,
Trip

Looks like an `08 blue/titanium. Very nice colors. My son purchased a Vulcan 900 in those same colors.
