Stupid question. Anyone know where I can get a small analogue thermometer that clamps over the bars? Any I've seen are for 1" dia max, can't find a thing for 1-1/4" bars..................Mike

Unless the charts are wrong, the 2009 Voyager is supposed to have 1 inch handlebar. 2010 up 1 1/4 inch. Might want to check it out.

They are handy to have. "Clocks for Bikes" used to sell them but foreign makers shut them down. I still have my clock which just needs batteries every 3yrs and thermometer from them 12yrs old and they work great.

Ebay has multiple options for Thermometers.

Chinese knockoff but in the pic it doesn't look bad. Never noticed it'll arrive between July 4th to Aug 3 or I wouldn't have bothered. Talk about a slow boat from China..................M

I've got an older handlebar thermometer on mine, forget the brand (logo looks like a cursive outline of a motorcycle, if that helps) and it's very unreliable. Usually reads 10-20 degrees high. I could see direct sun affecting this, but this is even if the bike is parked in my garage.

Is this a common issue with these, or are these ones you're all recommending pretty accurate?

Jeff

Edit: I went back and looked at my thermometer and it's actually a Clocks 4 Bikes thermometer. Looks great, just reads too high.

Did you steal the thermometer off your 1500?? And Nice colors on the new bike. Already commented on FB. Congratulations.

Heheh, yep. I pulled a couple of small items off of it before I traded her in; the thermometer, cupholder, chrome license plate cover, clutch/brake leather fringe covers and the bag set I had on the luggage rack (same one as on your 1500 classic in your album actually) and took off the K&N 9" Caddmann mod. Left my DIY hardmount softbags, windshield triple bag and Chuckster Hitch, though. Gotta get another hitch now before my Western Md trip next month.

This LINK (https://www.amazon.com/Koso-BA003270-Ambient-Temperature-Meter/dp/B00T6J4FOI) is the one I have on my dash. It is electronic and very accurate. It gives you the current temp and the high and low since last the resetting.

I bought the 1 off fleabay that recumbentbob posted. So small of scale cant read temp w/o readers, and also the needle is stuck on 50 all the time. Company said to keep and not return. I would like 2 find cheap unit, preferably a digital display unit.

Here's mine. It's a cheap 12V backlit thermometer with a remote probe, that I found on AliExpress It's not waterproof (except for where I've siliconed up around the back of it), but it's holding up OK so far.

That temperature makes me long for summer. :yep:

Got the thermometer, seems well built, very heavy but wayy too small to be of any practical use..........Mike
