I was doing Some general service getting ready for Trip/Rally. Drained oil replace filter and refilled. Everything going well. Then as I was pouring old oil into recycle barrel, there it was a o-ring>:(. This is were I need one of Chucks Damit tools:lol:. Well draining oil out no big deal. getting it back in out of drain pan PIA. So got some heavy tarps out of work van and laid it down on the crash bars. Took off the cap installed o ring and set it back up. No oil lost.

You can also see the gas tank is off. Found it seeping at the bottom seam/weld.:ohno:
Call local Kawasaki dealer Planet Powersports. Coldwater, MI. They had tank in 3 days. I just got to go swap/pick it up and install it.:yep: All under warranty.
Inside of tank was clean as a new one, and just seeping where you could smell it and had residue all along the weld area. They said as long as it was in good shape and original paint they would replace it.

So just about ready to go.:cheers:

Troy, at least you noticed the O-Ring sooner rather than later.
Nice to hear Kawasaki took care of you on the tank.

Good Idea laying the bike over so you wouldn't have to drain the oil.

Didn't suffer any garage rash when she went down, did you? :D :lmao: Makes for a interesting way to detain the underpinnings there.... :wtf:
