Picture of " Charlet " at least that's what my wife calls her. She said that if I was going to have a new mistress, at least she should have a name.
I put some oversized lowers on her today and took her for a ride, what a difference in the buffeting, just wonderful now. This winter I'm planning on inserting a gel pack into the seat, new grips , chrome rad cover and front fender guard rail. Going to also install some clear film over the front fender because I all ready have some rock chips.
Hope you like her as much as I do. Oh ya, I included a picture of my sweet wife who said to go ahead and get the Nomad this year.

Hey Trip.. I think they did offer the Nomad in black in 2005. I remember seeing pics online when we were looking. We also have the black & silver.

Here in The Netherlands, all the cops have very bad eyes, thats why the lic plate have that huge size I think!

Just kidding!

Since the Eurozone is in progress, all cars, bikes, trucks and other vehicles with a license have the same plate size (in all countries in the Eurozone) in the blue square is the country
visable. Here with us it is NL (Nederland)

Nope, in 2005 the two color choices were blue/gray and black/silver. Since the thought of having a bike in "Cowboy" colors sickened me, I went with the black/silver (even though the thought of Raider colors still made me a bit queasy). I really was hoping for the 2004 metal flake black, but I couldn't find a new one at any dealer... all thye had were 2004 blue/grays).

My two favorite colors for Nomads were the 2004 Metal flake black and the 2002 red/black. Some day when I get enough scratches in my black/silver I will have the thing repainted...
