Have fun man. I had hoped to attend that rally, but just can't be away from work (and family) for that length of time right now. Maybe I should retire? Hmmm?
(nice wish)

Valdez, we'll see you in Coos Bay sometime on the 17th. Have a safe and enjoyable ride.

My route from Round Rock Texas to Coos Bay Oregon is via Pocatello Idaho to visit my grand sons. I'll be leaving Thursday afternoon July 11 and ride through the night in hopes of arriving in time for dinner Friday evening.

From Pocatello to Coos Bay I will probably go through Spokane WA. Going through Washington will get one more state to color in on my map to cover all 49 continental states by motorcycle in five years. While in Idaho I'll take a quick 450 mile day trip and ride into Nevada.

My return route is undecided. I'm considering going through Flagstaff as opposed to Phoenix because of the heat of the desert. It is going to be a two day ride covering about 2300 miles. I just wish I had more vacation time http://s2.images.proboards.com/angry.gif:(" title=">:(" border="0"/> so I could stretch this out a few more days and take time for some side trips. Maybe after I retire. :)

There's some beautiful riding up in Oregon. I've taken Judy up around diamond Lake and Crater Lake before, and up the coast to Astoria, and it was just amazing.

Have a great trip. Just returned from Oregon, rode 5 days through northeast/central/southern Oregon and it was the prettiest part of the cross country trip. Although, Colorado was pretty spectacular as well. Enjoy...buck
