Tom has finalized the plans for two meals at the rally.

To try and have a good idea of how many people will be attending Thursday's Finale Dinner and having the pizza
we are planning for Monday I ask that after reading the details you follow the link below and fill out the form.
If you have your own plans for dinner, no problem, but we do need know how many will be joining us.
We will be committed to paying for the number of people we tell the restaurant plus we have to put up a deposit.
Because of that we will need payment in advance.

Monday-Arrival Day Realizing that some may have had a long ride Monday getting to Lake George
we have decided to order pizza and bring it to the base motel.
We'll have some soft drinks and bottled water iced down as well.
To pay for it we're asking that all those who want to have pizza Monday contribute $10.00.

Thursday-Finale Dinner Arrangements have been made at a BBQ restaurant (http://www.barnsider.com) that is close to the base motel for our finale dinner.
We have the restaurants event area reserved for our group.

It will be a buffet style offering of pulled pork, brisket, baked beans, potato salad and coleslaw.
A Strawberry layer cake for dessert and of course soft drinks.
The cost is $26.00 per person. This includes tax and tip.

If you plan to attend the rally please follow the link below to the VBA website and submit
the form even if you don't plan to have pizza and/or attend the Finale Dinner.

At the bottom of the page are several PayPal payment options.
If you don't have a PayPal account you can still send money using your credit card.
Don't want to use PayPal? Then you can send me a check. Shoot me a PM for my address.

Thank you for your cooperation and I look forward to seeing you soon in Lake George.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Here is my dilemma Dave. I plan on attending the final dinner but do not like
pulled pork, brisket, baked beans, potato salad or coleslaw. Can I attend the dinner and go in the restaurant and buy my own food without paying the $26 entry fee?

Since you are one of our hosts and the keynote speaker at the finale dinner I'm sure security will let you in.

Yeah I have found it is less painful if I humiliate myself Rob.
My "friends" on here don't seem to realize I am quiet, shy and have feelings. :tehe:

Yes don't forget the topics:
1- Loud pipes save lives
2- Over maintenance is good for the bike
3- Don't remember what # 3 was supposed to be
Yes this thread is going sideways in a hurry.

Update: Thinking of the possibility of rain Tom has secured the pavilion at Usher's park for Monday evenings pizza.
The park is just past the million dollar beach on 9L and only a mile or so from the motel.
Even if you don't plan on having pizza come down to the park and check it out.
We will have the pavilion from 5:30 to 8:00.
