Thought I'd share a quick video I made showing how Installed an aftermarket Kenwood Media Reciever in my Vaquero. This is what worked for me, their are 2 different wiring diagrams I have both if anyone needs a copy I used the original one that calls for 5 resistors. By no means is this the easiest DIY but with a little patients and for about $60 more than the Kawi iPod connector you can have a lot more radio.

Awesome, thanks for the video. I will PM for the wire diagram. Just the kind of stereo I want on My 2016 Vaquero. I like the USB input. I had that and a card reader in my last ride.

12312 Maybe with your Knowledge you can help? I made this cord for the rear speakers. I get a garbled sound at speed on the front speakers when this is plugged in under the seat. but parked it sounds fine. I checked all connections and Polarities. Your radio post talks about RESISTERS , Is that something I may need? And if So Why?

I have no clue sir sorry, On my vaquero I don't have rear speakers yet. when I install my rear speakers they will be run off a separate amp with wire going directly from the amp to the speakers.

This is just a guess, but if you are using a standard headphone jack with three connections (right, left, ground) the common ground between speakers might be the problem. The schematic shows four distinct different wires, two for each rear speaker. (They do not use a common ground.) Since the issue is with the front speakers at speed, it may be caused by the crossed grounds in the rear coupled with the automatic volume control at speed.
Again, just a guess.

"Notmighty" thank you for the response.

I think that maybe it , But what other way would there be, For a Head
Phone Jack?
Thank you "Bigdog" I do not know about these things but it makes sense. It took a long time to find the correct Plugs/Connectors, so I did not have to cut wires( really Short ones in a cramped space I might add) So I will try real speakers then. Just to test it.

Yeah, that's not likely to work well. The speakers have separate grounds and connecting them like that would cause interference.
Are you using the headphone jack to plug into other speakers or headphones? If you are plugging into other speakers than run them separately to each speaker.
The resistors are for the PAC steering wheel interface, not the speakers.
