Hi all, 3 weeks ago, I carried my fairing and side covers to be repainted (after tipping over and scuffing the fairing) ;). The guy told me he would have it ready in 2-3 days. After the 2nd day I would go by and check on it on my way to work, and each day he would tell me "Maybe Tomorrow". This went on for 3 weeks http://s2.images.proboards.com/angry.gif:(" title=">:(" border="0"/>, and finally, yesterday it was ready http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif. I went and picked them up, brought them home, and put them on http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif. I think he done a nice job except for the left side cover. He will re-do it next week (I hope). It has some flaws in the flame, but he gave it back to me so I could do some riding http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif. I'm not too worried about him doing it 'cause he has not been paid yet http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif, and if he wants his money, he'll finish the job http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif. Got a few photos of the "NEW LOOK NAD" http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

Hey VulcanE , The pic of the back. Are those reflections in the bags or is that some kinda marbleized effect in the paint?

I got the ones I have from Ron Ayers Motorsports for $20. They allow air to flow underneath you. Helps with Monkeybutt!

Skeeter, I got them from www.beadrider.com (http://www.beadrider.com) I LOVE them, they are extremely comfortable, and you can feel a cool breeze going under your hiney, really works for the "monkey butt (sorry 'bout that misunderstood), and the longer the ride is, the happier your butt is. Only thing I can complain about is that at the end of the hot season, When I take them off (you can't use them when it cools down) I have to give them a re-paint, but not a problem. Been using them 3 years now.

HEY TC,, to get the marbled look use cellophane wrap.. while paint is wet you lay the wrap on it and then remove the wrap, gives the funky finish http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif,, I saw it online somewhere.. If I find the link Ill post it...........Rich
