So I've been kicking around the idea of installed in a chopped/razor tour pack on my vaquero. i searched around the forum(s) and internet and have seen any pictures, has it even been done?

I am getting this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-Vaquero-Motorcycle-Luggage-Rack-Backrest-Combo-BDD-Custom-/231854958877?fits=Make%3AKawasaki&hash=item35fba1e91d:g:B18AAOSwYHxWOQGS&vxp=mtr for Christmas and would assume a tour pack could be mounted on this very easily. any thought/suggestions?

http://www.wompusracks.com/ most of the Vulcan riders used these to mount trunks very solid check the weight limit on the one you are getting most of them are only 10 lbs

No way a pizza box will fit on that rack, especially with that backrest. If you really want a Harley pizza box (aka razor pack), do what Tom suggested and buy a Wompus rack. The Harley boxes come with a padded backrest. I had a Wompus rack on my '07 Nomad and I almost think I could have sat on it (I'm 300#). YMMV

Thanks for the info/feedback guys, I did ask BDD Custom about using there rack purposely mount a chopped tour box and they seemed pretty confident that it would. the pack will just hold my rain suit, gloves and insulated socks. I will be returning the back rest portion and only keeping the luggage rack portion. I will defiantly post pictures once the parts arrive, probably make an unboxing/install video as well. Merry Christmas all
