I'm the original owner of a 2011 Vaquero with 39K miles. I went with the OEM rear tire on the first few changes, then I installed Michelin CII's on front and back. It rode great until I got the front end wobble and it slid a few times in the rain. I put in all balls bearings and went back to the OEM tires. Recently I changed the rear tire to a Bridgestone radial, it had a strange feeling, almost like the swingarm was loose and moving side to side. I rode it for 600 miles and took it off. Then I did it, I put on a Bridgestone Turanza car tire. in a straight line it rides just like a motorcycle tire, nice and smooth. It does good in the corners but the handlebars feel heavy, it takes a little more effort on the pushing of the handlebar in the corners. I put 500 miles on it last week, the heavy handlebar feeling is going away, it's beginning to feel like the new normal. I haven't had it in the rain yet but living in South Georgia I get caught in the rain regularly in the summer. So far I like it, if it rides good in the rain then it's gonna be on there for a while. I'm not promoting a car tire, just posting my experiences with rear tires.
