Just sitting here, thinking, drinking, trying to free my mind, I came up with this. Hope you guys can handle a project like this or I can sell them for $50 a pair http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

Cut a crate directly in half
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e54/1beezer/Shelf%20Mod/IMG_1034.jpg

Put some non-slip material on top
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e54/1beezer/Shelf%20Mod/IMG_1035.jpg

Bend the sides in to get into saddlebags
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e54/1beezer/Shelf%20Mod/IMG_1036.jpg

This project should keep you off the streets for 15 minutes http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif Beezer, you should be on that show where they use all the duct tape. The Red Green Show. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

I went to a friend's house once & he was making ravioli. He was stamping out the pasta with a section of plastic cut out of a crate like that one. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

I ate it anyway. ;)

Hey Beezer just wondering why you didn't leave the crate in one piece and tie it down to the seat more storage I know then it wouldn't be a shelf http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Oh yeah does the milk man leave a bunch of crates around your house just saying

06-28-2008, 06:48 PM
If you can steal 6 of them, you can duct tape them onto some wheels and a broom handle and make a fine trailer for your bike. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

If he's not trying to get a job and get his own girlfriend, then you've got a serious problem. Get him drunk one night & sign him up for a hitch in the Navy. If there's any hope at all, that'll fix it. ;)

06-29-2008, 06:37 PM
Huh? Those are real kegs! That's real root beer in 'em too!

The Virgil's keg looks pretty sturdy, has two flanged holes in it for a fitting and a vent, and holds 5 liters.

Unfortunately it will not fit where the goat's belly was, because of the cross pipe of the baggers. I hate to put it on the luggage rack, as it'd cut into my luggage capacity. I'm just not sure where to put it on the bike.
