In looking at custom dynamics, I came across a product that I thought would really set off my Vaquero.
I contacted C.D. and they said it was developed only for Harley's. I told them there are other bikes out there besides HD and that R&D should start looking at us Metric owners. I figure since we have more money in our pockets due to the cheaper costs of our steeds.
Anyways, here is the link..

There are a millions of led lights out there that maybe you could come up with your own version, or what makes these particular to Harley?, are they two way taped to the trim strip and just plug and play? Maybe you could easily adapt them to your needs.

They are plug and play.
It looks easy enough to do.
But I figured Custom Dynamics would have done a wider selection of bikes instead of just one brand.
I will just have to do some figuring to see what I can do.

Damn this metric voltage!

Damn this metric voltage!

Volts to kilovolts formula
The voltage V in kilovolts (kV) is equal to the voltage V in volts (V) divided by 1000:
V(kV) = V(V) / 1000
Example
Convert 12volts to kilovolts:
V(kV) = 12V / 1000 = 0.012kV
:lmao::lmao:

Supply and demand. Harley sold 6 zillion bikes with the same batwing fairing (I counted). How many Voyagers/Vaqueros did Kawasaki sell? Probably not quite as many (I didn't count). Same thing with Gold Wings. Honda sold a butt load (it's a big butt) of Wings so there's a LOT of aftermarket support. Practically zero aftermarket support for the Suzuki Calvalcade (which only sold about 9k total...yes, I had to look this up).

Like Monkeyman said, its all about #'s, plain and simple. Now, find something the same voltage and your home free. Adapting is good!

I was thinking of just using custom dynamics product and work it into a kawi trim. Perhaps the guy I know, with a plasma rod cutter could cut out the area, to where the LED lights would go.
Hmmm could be done.......
