Looking for a simple black round air cleaner and K&N for my Vaquero. Any leads?

check out chucksters, he makes a pretty simple kit and can powder coat the cover black.

Yes Chucksters makes a cover that keeps stock appearance.

That's what I have. If you want it completely blacked out I guess you could add in the cost of Krylon.

I guess I didn't make myself clear. For VN1700s does Chuckster make a BAK that allows you to not use the stock cover? I thought his required the use of the stock cover for VN1700s.

It's not for me (I already have a Chuckster BAK that uses the stock cover). It's info for the OP. Several have suggested he get a Chuckster BAK because has one with a plate that can be painted or powder coated. I'm not sure, but don't think that will work for his Vaq or any other VN1700.

per Chuckster's notes, the 1700 kit uses the stock cover.......
