With a full tank. I'm getting 160 miles before the fuel light comes on. Anyone getting better? That's at freeway speeds

I'm going 150 to 160 on my Voyager before the light comes on. I just did a 2000 mile trip and averaged 41 MPG actual overall and it showed 43 MPG on the dash guestimator.

Yeah that what my dash reads also. I rode 160 miles the other day and as soon as the light came on it got gas. 4.3 gallons to fill it back up. I'm guessing that leaves 1 gallon for Reserve

I just road to the antlers rally yesterday, 189 miles and put 4.6 gallons in. I had a slight tail wind and kept her under 70. Last weekend was a different story. I went to bbbbq in Fayetteville AR. Road 70 to 80 mph with a crosswind and go 36 mpg. Speed and wind direction seems to make a big difference to theses bikes.

I do a lot of city riding. Dash says I get 42mpg. Going by the mileage and amount I put in, it's 34mpg.

Try filling it to the rim when on the kick stand and you should get a few more miles per tank.

I do. I leave about 1" of space.

I have gotten over 200 miles on a tank. The typical is 170~180 per tank. The sweet spot for me is 68ish mph indicated (65 GPS) in 6th. Agreed wind and speed make a huge impact on MPGs. Those days when commuting (100 miles to office) at 70mph GPS, 36 ~38MPG real. If I am filling up and hitting the road immediately, fill it to the rim.

Here in the mid-west I get 165-170. But on a trip to Co. this summer, once above 5,500 Ft. I was getting 48+ M.P.G. Well over 200 per tank.

We're at about 3500 feet in elevation. I can go approximately 350 kilometers / 215 miles on a tank before the fuel warning is triggered.

Just came back from an 1200 mile trip to the Smokies. On the way home I got 47 mpg (actual) doing 75-80 on I-75. Thought I must have a strong tailwind but passed several flags hanging limp. Best I've ever gotten driving that fast. I removed my Chuckster BAK and went back to stock a few weeks ago. I have V&H slip-ons and Ivanized ECU. I was riding in a pack of 8 bikes. I wonder if drafting affected it any. Either way, Ill take it.
