Can the Dobeck EJK 3.0 tune out the slight decal miss? Does any one have any experience with this tuner?

What type of bike? Any mods?

2015 vaquero, just stock, may update exhaust someday.

It can nearly tune out the decel pop... If you want to eliminate it entirely, forget the tuner (my EJK is hanging on a nail in the shed), and have your ECU re-flashed by Ivan instead. On your '15, that will also allow you to unplug the O2 sensor, and so open up your potential exhaust selection to anything designed for all model year Vaq's.

I removed my BULLY (EJK-Rebranded) and can not believe all the popping and noises my bike now makes. I removed it cause it had a questionable bad ground and sometimes would only run on 1 cylinder. With the settings I had in mine, I was able to tune mine pretty good. Today I'm gonna remove the CPU and send off to Ivan through my KAW dealer.

Maybe I could sell my BULLY to the guy in Elmira - Shoot I might even deliver it and install it for him for an extra quarter.

"Today I'm gonna remove the CPU and send off to Ivan through my KAW dealer".

Why send the CPU (ECU) through your KAW dealer ?
Why not post it direct to Ivan ?

Peg and others are correct. Forget trying to "tune" the deccel popping out with a FI tuner. We spent a LOT of man hours tying to do just that and the best we got was most of it gone. We always ended up with a drawback somewhere else. It was a band-aid at best. Ivans ECU reflash completely eliminates it and gives you several other benefits as well. More power and cooler running temps being the two best. We've seen zero negative affects.
I am an unpaid cheerleader for this mod. It just plain works, it's relatively inexpensive and it's EASY! As a dealer, if it makes my customers enjoy their bikes more it's a win for me and for Kawasaki.
Don't think about doing it, just do it. You can thank me later... :)

I had spent a lot of time gathering info from my dealer on doing this upgrade - He had Ivanized his own Vaquero as well as several other 1700's.

For the small amount extra it may cost me. I'll let him make a couple of bucks on the transaction. Not to mention - He will for sure know what's going on on my bike should any Warranty issues come into play later in life.

I may (or may not) have a different relationship with my dealership. I buy parts from them, I buy bikes from them, I buy 4-wheelers from them, they do some of my Service (Major things), they mount tires for me (after I remove them). Bottom line - I want them to stay in business and if I go the cheapest route (Internet) on everything I get for the bike - They may NOT ALWAYS BE THERE. Did I mention they are less than 10 miles from my house?

I am the same way with my local dealer here in town and he is less than 2 miles from me.

I did question him about the ECU re-flash and he had no problem with it voiding my warranty.
