ECU Flash Friday! So from what I understand, this is the thing to do! It will cure my decel popping, give me greater throttle control, help me lose weight, look 10 years younger, six pack abs! I can't wait! lol

I cant say it enough Ivan's flash is the best mod for any bike its available on, when I had my stryker I was on the fence and with all the hype on the forum I had to do. once it was done I was pissed I waited and spent money on a EJK tuner, with the vaquero I rode it home and pulled the ECU immediately LOL.

I'm really looking forward to getting it done. I got the bike with 668 miles on it and I'm just about to hit 1000 so I won't have much to compare it to.

I bought my Vaquero new and had the Ivan flash done with 500 miles on it. I've only put 50 or so miles on it since but I can tell a big difference. You will not need to ride far to tell a world of difference.

Cool. Once the flash is done we're off to OCC then back to CT.

so the flash improves power, driveability, and gas mileage?

YES, YES, and YES . gas mileage may vary depends on how excited you get with the throttle. my average says 39.5 if i did the math i think it's really about 34ish which is okay for me its a toy not something i bought to get 60+mpgs i woulda bought a 125cc scooter for that LOL

Before the flash, I was getting about 32mpg. After the flash I was getting about 33mpg. Now that's all on me. I rode it hard and enjoyed every minute of it. Basically the same mileage and more power? I'll take it every time.

This last tank of gas, I painfully held off hitting the throttle as hard. Still was going the same speed on the highways and streets, just taking it easy getting there. Filled up today and got 36mpg.

As nice as 36mpg, and possible higher if I settled down a little more, I'm going to be perfectly happy getting 33mpg on the next tank.

I'm glad to see someone here that gets the same exact mileage as I do, down to the last number.

I rode about 230 miles today. I reset the average miles per gallon when I gassed up the first of 2 times. I rode the first roughly 100 miles before the flash then the rest after obviously. It was mostly highway, but there was TONS of traffic. I think I spent two whole hours in 1st and 2nd gear. Other than that, I rode around 75-80 mph or so while on the highway. I hit the throttle hard when needed and was not driving in a manner to conserve gas if you will...Checked it when I got home, here was the mileage I got:

And although I didn't get the 6 pack abs, I did get a much better ride after the flash! I have the Vance & Hines slip ons and was getting that annoying decel popping. Notice I said *was*. It is completely gone and if that was all this flash did, I would be thrilled, but wait, there's more! It's hard to explain, but the bike just rides smoother. Shifting, especially downshifting is so smooth it's like you don't even feel the bike changing gears. The throttle is so responsive now, it's great. Even the slightest input is noticeable and easy to apply. Now you are able to feel even a tiny little twist of the throttle. Also, when you twist it quick, hang on because you can finally feel the power of the 1700. I felt myself get thrown into the backrest several times today when I punched it! The pipes sound much nicer too. It's a really nice grumbling rumble when you're cruising. I'm sure there's more, but these are my first impressions after about 130 miles with the flash. Hope this info helps those considering getting it done.

That's because everything becomes a blur when you jump to lightspeed, or you hit warp drive.
