I took my 2009 Nomad for a 200 mile ride this morning and came home and immediately order a new Corbin seat after reading a few threads on here. I'm sure the Day Long saddles are just as good, if not better. I just don't want to have to be without a saddle for weeks at a time during peak riding season. I'm also going to order some handle bar risers. I'll start another thread and ask opinions on that. I cant wait for my new seat to get here!!!

I would have gone with the Russel Daylong seat, I wish I'd bought mine years sooner. It is by far the best bike seat Ive ever had.

I love my new Corbin.....it fits better around the rear end and thighs than even the Mustang and is good for long rides. I bought the dual tour model and the backrest that is shaped like a doughnut.

That's what I ordered, without the backrest. I figure I can always order it later if I decide I need it.

If I decide that I don't like the Corbin, I may get one this winter. I just can't see being without a seat on a new (to me) bike for that long during the summer.

My Nomad had a Corbin Dual Tour on it when I bought it. At first, I didn't much care for it because it is quite wide, but after I got used to it, I like it a lot. Very comfy for long trips.

And the Corbins are not only comfy, but very stylish too and they let you build the seat to your personal taste online....and they custom build it to your height and weight specifications. I had mine built with carbon fiber sides and black and chrome beauty buttons. It took 2 weeks to arrive from the day I ordered it. Best aftermarket seat I ever had.

Has any Vaquero rider used the Corbin Young Guns seat and can give an opinion on it's comfort?

I have a young Guns on my Vaquero. I LOVE it! I have always been a Corbin guy. I like the wide, slightly dished, firm seat. I have done several 1000 mile straight shots, and feel great when I get off the bike. It makes me feel more connected to the bike, because of the firm, closed cell foam. If you have a passenger, I would NOT recommend it. Even Corbin will tell you the back part of the Young Guns is not truly a passenger seat.

I've got the Corbin Young Guns on mine and love it too. It sits much lower than the Mustang Dual Tourer. I got my Vaquero after a lowered 900 Vulcan bobber. Felt like I was riding in a lifted pick up with the Mustang seat. I've ridden with a passenger a few times on the Young Guns. It's ok for short trips around town but wouldn't recommend it for any type of distance with a passenger.
