Well, the Western and Eastern Rally's are complete. I understand through communication that everyone had a great time and got to know each other. I am very glad to hear that the rally's have been successful without mishap. The rally leaders have done an excellent job in planning and executing the rally's. Kudos go out to them.

The Central Rally is this coming Thursday through Sunday and I wish all the attendees a safe trip. As a sidenote, I will not be able to attend the Central like I thought I might. Important meetings at work for Thursday and Friday are preventing me from attending. That's what I get for starting a new job.

Next week, I will begin work on the KawaNOW Rally Video. It may take me several weeks to finish. I need everyone that took pictures and video to upload them to Photobucket for me.

You can log in at www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) under the KawaNOW account and upload your pics and videos.

ID: kawanow PSW: andforever

Just select the proper rally folder and upload. If you have any questions concerning uploading pics, feel free to leave them here in this thread. To view the pics, feel free to go to http://www.photobucket.com/kawanow and select the rally region, Western, Eastern or Central.

The 2009 Rally will be a National Rally based in Custer, South Dakota. More on that later.

Thanks,
Trip

Hmmm...That's about 3000 miles round trip for me, if I go the shortest route, which just happens to be across the Mojave & through Las Vegas...(urg.)

You guys have fun in Custer. I just don't like to travel quite that much anymore.

Ah but Caddman, riding Custer is a must do! Great roads up there. I rode just about all of them in 05 and can't wait to go back and do it again. We would only harrass you a little if you trailered your bike up. :)

I've been across South Dakota at least three times in a car. *yawn*

Custer must have the only non-boring roads in the state.

Besides, to get Judy to ride across the Mojave Desert I had to promise to take her to Hawaii next Summer.

She doesn't realize that once there I'll rent a Harley and make her ride around the island with me. Probably right up the side of an active volcano. HehHehHeh...

That's actually a GREAT ride Cadd...and beautiful....but remember, there is usually a rain shower every day.....not a bad tradeoff for what you get to see

I've ridden in the rain before. I'd actually enjoy not having to worry about the water spots either. ;)

Hey Cadd, let's get a trailer for the bikes. BD wants to get something large to tow with. You can go to Hawaii anytime.

I gotta go while my wife is on vacation. That's kind of an issue. I'll think about it though.
