bunky

Just rode 3000kms and gotta say.....MY ASS HURTS!!!
The stock seat is fine. No issue with my lower back or tail bone.
It's the lower part of my bum (where the legs and bum meet), that is really aggravated.
It got so bad it affected my riding when stopped. Had some issues raising my feet unto my floor boards.
My riding buddy has an airhawk on his goldwing and he swears by the product.
So I went online and see there is are many sizes.
So I am looking at what members are saying about their airhawk and what size recommendation for their vaquero.
Thanks

I've been using an Air Hawk for almost 10 years. I have the old style "medium" cruiser pad. The cover is becoming faded and a bit worn but still holds air fine. I have used it on a Suzuki C50, a 1500 Drifter and now a 1500 Classic (with OEM seat and now a Corbin dual tour). No one will be able to pry that thing out from under my butt. Love it. I can't speak for the newer design but it's supposed to prevent the scrotum pinch that some times occurs.

I recently bought the Airhawk R. Definitely a good decision I found it works quite well in the car, too. Took me a few tries to get the right amount of air, I was surprised how little is needed.

I think the trick is to use the least amount of air as possible to give support. Have 1 wife used on the back off the 800 with a Mustang wide tour seat. She was able to go around 50% further than before, before she wanted a butt break.
