Great idea Dan...I'm stealing it ;) ;) ;) ;)

1. West Virginia should change to "Wet, Wild, & Wonderful"
2. KawaNOW riders don't let the "Wet" part bother them when it's time to ride.
3. DAMN...we eat a bunch.....eat, ride, eat, ride, eat, ride, eat, ride, drink.
4. and this is for Dave.......Makita tools reps are on the endangered species list from this point forward.

5. Beezer needs to be analyzed by a professional http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

and my last for now...

5. An impressively great group of people for being thrown together off of a web forum....lots of commonalities among us..but what do you expect, we all have great taste, we have Nomads. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

What a perrrrrfect Summary Todd! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

;) That Covered it All! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif Except "THE LAUGHS" ::)

:-* BEEZER WAS ROYALTY! ::)

I'm sure glad I didn't have to go to work today! http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif
Old age does have some perks! ;) But I'd just as soon skipped um if I hadda choice! http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

I took today off too....washin' the bike...mowing....uploading pics and videos....and man am I glad I took it off!!!

Of course, if we were like some of the members of this forum that are, let's say from the west, and we just cut the rally short by a day and came home Saturday, like, let's say the one's in the west, we would have had Sunday to rest instead of riding some more ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

I am sure the Central Region won't leave us nearly as disappointed and will step up to the plate and be able to complete the entire Rally.

...I'm just sayin' http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

My thoughts:

Todd is a big guy! "a gentle giant among men"

All of the Eastern Rally men definately "married up" (attractive wives)

Not one axe murderer in the group, LOL

It's amazing how such a diverse group of ages, backgrounds and occupations can come together with an interest in Nomads and get along so great!

A little mountain rain can't keep Nomads from enjoying a good ride.

We definately need to get together again, Smokey Mtns.?

There was a wealth of knowledge and innovation at the Rally.

old dawg acts a lot younger than his 70 years.

Beezer is in a catagory all by himself. lol

Wampus does a great paint job (who said you can't do that with paint?)

There sure are a lot of school teachers in the group.

It was nice to see the W Va VROC group at the Rally. Some are KawaNOWers, others are joining.

It is an awesome sight to see 30+ Nomads all in one place.

I can't think of any group of people I'd rather spent time with than KawaNOW'ers from the Eastern Rally!

More thioughts:

Red seems to be the popular color.

Green and Blue Nomads were few, but stood out.

Black is still the fastest----right Todd?

Re My Thoughts:
"Buckeye" is a really nice guy, extremely sociable, always smiling and an absolutely nice person to chat with and be around. Some-one amongst many I'll always fondly remember. ;) It was difficult to spend time with everyone as there were so many folks there, but some who are just gregarious by nature made it easy to get to know them easily.
Todd, Buckeye, Beezer, Ringadingh, Unwind, & a few others whose names escape me fit this group of fine caring people. I wish I had the energy to spend more time socializing, but I guess age does have its limitations. I did need more rest time than most, I was also fighting a case of Bronchitis all week. But all in all I faired just fine. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

Black is most definitely the fastest....the theory is inarguable http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

What a great group of people. Some folks were easy to pick out right away from their pic's on the forum...(right Todd?). ;)

Fun rides, great conversations, cool bikes.....in the West Virginia mountains....what more could you want.

Enjoyed meeting everybody.....looking forward to our next adventure.

You got that right...I think my favorite is after several people had already walked up to me and said something like "you must be Todd".....Coach and Joe drove in and they were getting all unpacked and I yelled over there, "who are you ??" Coach says something like "I don't know but I know you're Todd"

Ah...you are accurate in your quote Todd. I had a pretty good idea who some may have been from pictures, specially Beezer, lol.

What a great weekend, met so many fantastic people, my only regret is not being able to spend more time with them, as I seemed to have run out of weekend to darn early. I can't wait until we can all do it again someplace, sometime.

Let's see........

I knew the West Virginia hills were great, but they are more awesome ridin' 'em on a Nomad

Eastern Region KawaNOW members are wonderful people and very giving!!

I feel confident I've made some lifelong friends

Beezer, you are in a class all your own

Unwind2 is a great co-leader

The black bear was the most exciting wildlife sighting. Sorry Dave.

We have some very well traveled Nomad riders

Until next year...........memories made........good times to talk about

A day is not wasted if a memory is made. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

Oh,

I also learned that no matter how many big giant propellers you put on top of a mountain...it won't take off http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

Yeah, by the time I was up and coherent, all I saw out my window were the tail lights of your bikes. Here's a virtual hug.{{{{{{Beezer}}}}}

Mrs. Coach was trying to find the answer to that on Google with no luck. She counted 11 sleeping deer and 9 awake and frolicking.

Here's my theory....It's like Thanksgiving to us.....I think they eat a bunch, get sleepy, and then lie down by the road. Every one I saw had a big huge belly poking out.....and whatever they eat really smells aweful.

Whaddaya think ??? ???

Hey, Sherri just told me she saw a John McCain add on TV and he was talking about clean energy and it featured some of "our" windmills.

Hey, that might be the ticket Todd. Mrs. Coach thinks you may be on to something.
