I purchased a 2015 vaquero last year. Love my bike... I have been riding for over 30 years and this bike is the nicest. I changed my windshield to a 14 inch which is perfect, upgraded my radio to my I-Pod, nice back rest and for the best upgrade is a set of cobra slip-ons, I live in calif so I drilled and installed a o2 sensor port anyways huge difference. This really gave the bike performance with a nice tone. I highly recommend the cobra slip ons.. Oh I also did a mobil 1synthitic oil change. Like I said I love this bike..... fict.

Did you do the slip ons yourself or did you have it done. If you did it was it difficult to do.

I did the slip on's myself, It was easy... The only issue I had was the o-2 sensor. I cut the port out of the stock ones and drilled a hole in the exact spot in the cobras than welded the old port in and screwed the O-2 sensor in. It sounds harder that it was... The bike has amazing improved performance. I highly recommend the slip on's. You could take them in and have it done. It cant cost much. The key is using the stock pipes as a reference. you need to make sure that port is in the right spot so all goes together...

That is certainly good to hear about the performance bump. Which Cobras did you get, the Billet Tips or Tri Flo? You must have gotten the slip ons WITHOUT the bunge hole (now discontinued) as the newer ones already have them. You just remove the bunge and insert the O2 apparently. I'll be getting mine (Billet Tips) on next week.

Yes I got mine with the Billet tips.. And yes you can get the pipes with the bunge. Which is what I should have done. However I was to eager and impatient. anyhow it worked out... You will be so impressed with your pipes...

Glad to hear a review with the Billet Tips. Most have gotten the Tri Ovals but I liked the Billet Tip design as I had them on my Nad. How much louder are they than stock? Another reason I went with the Billet Tips. Can't wait!

The cobras are a lot louder but in a good way! When you take off your stock pipes look at how restricted they are.. I know I keep saying this but you are going to be blown away at how much better your bike will sound and preform.

Thanks. Yes the iPod adapter is sweet although I promised my wife I wouldn't "play" with it while riding lol. Also got the Kury ISO Grips. Shorter windshield coming in the spring.
