The kids are now older, the wife has spent the last 20 years buying stuff she needs and doesn't need, most of the bills paid - so tomorrow it's my turn. Picking up my new 07 Nomad holdover from Northcountry Powersports in Oakland, Maine. Black, shiny, pracitcal, impractical, beautiful. Been awhile since I had a bike. The last one was a 99 Vulcan 1500 which I liked a lot so the decision this time was pretty easy. Really, really looking forward to losing some daily strss by putting some miles on this bike with or without a destination in mind.

Welcome from NY State and congratulations on the purchase. Isn't disposable income great? It's been awhile since you have ridden so be careful. Ride like your invisible.

Congratulations from RI. I have a 2007 in black and love it. Lucky enough to put 4600 miles on it in the six or seven weeks since I purchased it. This site is great for information. You'll enjoy both the Nomad and this site.
