Don was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. He lived there most of his life.
Much of his childhood was spent working in his father's motorcycle shop.
He raced his Kawasaki drag bikes for more than 15 years.
His love of motorcycles and machines never faded.
He worked many years at Executive Coach Builders, working on prototypes and specialty vehicles.
Don was a craftsman and his skills were evident in his customized Kawasaki's.
Don also enjoyed photography and traveling.
He was an active member of the VBA, attending many rallies, and also a moderator on the forum.
Don was hard of hearing but easy to talk to, and always a pleasure to be around.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
