This is the current list of folks with motel reservations for the 2016 NE US / E Canada rally in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec (as of 12/26/2015)
If any information here is incorrect, please post to this thread with the corrections. Also, when you make a reservation, please post to this thread with your full name, your forum name, names of anyone attending with you, and the number of rooms booked.

That would be fine. For anyone joining us for a day ride we ask that you still fill out the VBA waiver / ice form and make yourself known to one of the organizers when you meet up and if you plan to leave the group ride somewhere enroute, let us know your intention so we don't come up short on periodic head counts.
Rides usually pull out from the motel around 9:00am but everyone should be gased up and ready to go before that.
Keep in touch, once the rides have been fully planned you can decide how you wish to participate.

I received a text from him supper time as I believe due to this large intense winter storm they came in from sea. I didn't get a chance to ask,as Bev and I were getting ready to go out for the evening. We have just arrived home,so I'll text him tomorrow. I had only decided to attend yesterday.
Not able to commit, but I'll most likely do a day ride depending on work, better half/vacation time etc.... :shrug:
Well if you change your mind about staying at the motel, you can always camp under a deck chair in front of my room.
Same for me, can't commit but I'd love to come for a day ride if life permits...

With or without ones better half,there will be no less a good time. My wife no longer rides,yet she insisted I attend. She said I had so much fun at the last rally in New Hampshire. I don't want to wish my life away but I can't wait for August.

I will be there as it's the start of a two week trip. I will be returning home by way of the New England states. Will be adding at least seven states to my ridden list along with two provinces

You could have a point (CNC)but I know better. No it's nothing about how much she loves me. She has to stay home and take care of 4 dogs,and 1 cat. Plus frequent visits of the grand kids,who usually stay over. :lmao:So,it's a fact.........she just wants me gone.:lmao:

Well the better half has officially bailed out. So a friend of mine will be accompanying me on his trike. So add his name to the list Bud Edwards. Will at least have some company on the trip.

Hello Everyone. As some of you might know in June my son, his wife, their son (our grandson) and sons wife's parents :ohno: are coming to visit for a month from China.
We can't commit to the rally until the visit is over, end of June.

Yes Larry that is why We scheduled the rally for mid August, to give you and Elaine plenty of recovery time.:yep: good luck with the visit, hope you can make the rally.

I'm working a lot, and travelling a lot these days... I'd love to join for a day ride if I can, what are the exact dates? I'll try to make it up for a day.

The two day rides are planned for Tuesday, the 16th and Thursday, the 18th. Wednesday is a "do your own thing" day, unless we need it for a rain date. Arrival is Monday afternoon, leaving on Friday morning for those staying the week.
Hope you can make it, even if only for a day.

Where: Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada
When: August 16th - 18th
Arrive: Monday, August 15th (check in after 3:30 PM)
Depart: Friday, August 19th (check out by 11:30 AM)
Motel: Hotel-motel le Boise du lac
The above is a paste from our anouncement post.
To add to that, Monday evening is our meet and greet BBQ, if your attending bring a gift for the door prize table, and a nominal fee will be collected for the food and refreshments.
Tuesday is a group ride day, everyone needs to be gassed and ready to go, I will say usually by about 8:30, our final routes and timing will affect that time but it is pretty safe to say pull out will not be be any earlier than that. Wednesday is a do your own thing day were some will be off exploring in small groups, or hanging out socializing at the motel. Thursday is the second ride day, different route but the same thing as above for Tuesday is about all there is to know yet. Should either Tuesday or Thursday look to be bad weather we may decide to shuffle the particular ride day to the Wednesday.
Also for anyone attending either the whole rally or planning to join in on a ride, it would be helpful if you printed and filled in the VBA waiver and ice form ahead of time, it saves time when we collect the waiver. Thanks.
