Is there any way the nomad pipes will fit on a Classic? I have a 2008 Vulcan Classic 1600 and instead of having both pipes on one side I would like to have one on each side. No mfg that I can see makes a set of pipes like that. To what I can see I think they are pretty much the same bike but really want to be sure before I invest into the pipes. I plan on putting some hard cases on the bike so I want as much clearance for them as I can.

Thanks for all who view and reply to this post..

Merry Christmas!!!

If there is a will, there is a way. :)

All it would take is some custom brackets to support the mufflers.

First off, Welcome to the forum! Merry Christmas to you also.
Yes there is a way to put the Nomad duels on your Classic, but are you willing to spend the time & money? You will have to get all the hardware to attach the exhaust for a Nomad and put it on your Classic. I personally don't think it is worth the time or effort, but if you really want to do it, it's not a hard job.

Welcome..............I put 1600 Nomad pipes on my 1500 Classic for a year or so. Not too difficult to do if you can do a bit of fab work. I have Leatherlyke bags on my Classic and I just made a bracket that bolts to the fender rails and drops down. A piece of angle at the bottom is used to attach/hang the mufflers. The hard bags hide the bracket well. Sorry, I never took any pics.

If 2 into 1 pipes are made for your 1600 that should make room for your bags.

I have V&H Long Shots on my Classic and if I had Nomad bags there wouldn't be any clearance problems. Two inch pipes stacked one on top the other isn't much difference than V&H Baggers or the Cobra Baggers.

I have Harley hard bags mounted on my 2004 1600 classic with no exhaust issues and I have v&h long shots with room to spare.
