If you don't say where and how much it didn't happen. Cheapest place I buy in the US is 9.97 at Walmart. I would also like to point out take 30% off the Canadian price due to exchange rate and you would have to find it less than $5.71 US...

His thread title didn't say it was motorcycle "t" oil.

Yah, I was thinking "Holy Crap Batman". I buy the Mobile One Synthetic 10w40 at WalMart for $24 dollars a 5 quart jug. The "t" does affect the cost. Not sure there is a difference in the oils.

Quart of 4t is 9.97 here in the U.S. of A.

I just bought 3, 5 litre jugs @ $26.99 jug of Castrol Edge 5W30 full synthetic oil on Friday for my truck. That was 1/2 price at Canadian Tire and the cheapest Ive ever seen synthetic oil in Canada.
I picked them up for $91.00 out the door.

I don't think that's good oil for our bikes... I bought some edge and returned it based on feedback I got here

I ran the Castrol 10w40 in my last bike for 40,000 miles. Never had a problem. Actually smoothed out the clutch that was grabby from the Kawasaki oil that was used by the first owner. Love me some Castrol oil. I ran the regular Castrol 10w30 in a "92 Dodge pickup for 427000 miles and never broke an engine gasket except the water pump. Only used a quart every 3500 miles and still never smoked.

I use the Mobil One full synthetic in the 1500 Nomad Cause that's what the previous had ran and I am really liking it also. It still is not totally dark at the 5000 mile change and doesn't have the burnt smell.

What you don't want is oil with heavy Friction Modifiers. It sticks to the clutch plates and can cause slippage.
