Neil Fallon 4-16-55 to 10-22-15

Neil Patrick Fallon aka HwyRider passed away on October 22, 2015 at the age of 60.
He was a active member on the forum and was always willing to offer advice.
Neil was a Marine Corp. veteran of the Vietnam War.
He had worked for a long time as a computer programmer.
He was also an avid motorcyclist and a friend to many here at the VBA.
Neil is survived by his wife of 21 years, Chris.
Our condolences to his family and friends.

I've only known Neil for two years but he had become a good friend and motorcycle riding buddy during that time. He was always ready to ride and didn't really care where or how far. Neil, myself and Evan (ctrider) have gone on some really nice rides in Connecticut and western parts of Massachusetts, NY and Vermont. Neil was always very helpful and gave me a lot of riding pointers, especially when I kept dropping my bike. :yep:

His forum handle probably should have been BostonCream instead of HwyRider because man, he loved the Boston Cream pie. :yep: Every diner we've ever been to he would always ask if they had it. Some did and some didn't. He never passed one up.

I miss Neil quite a bit. I haven't ridden since I found out he got sick. I typically ride until the end of November but this fall riding has lost a lot of its luster. I know he would give me crap for not riding but I guess his absence has affected me more than I was prepared for.

Neil, my friend. I miss you.
